The work of Jami Goddess has been described as macabre and surreal with a healthy dose of sarcastic confidence; one reviewer went as far as calling the women she creates post-apocalyptic pinups
. After studying art and design at Boise State University, she relocated to Sacramento, CA and started a t-shirt business featuring her illustrations. Her first account was a 14-store chain of boutiques called Little New York in Tokyo, Japan. She was also featured as the Scene cover story in the Sacramento Bee and was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Creativity Award by the Lt. Governor of California.
In 2005, she moved to San Diego and worked as a graphic designer for a publishing company and as a print production manager for a luxury branding agency. Currently, she is designing for the cult wine company, Leucadia Red. Her art has been shown in New York City as well as all over California.
